Just a note to remind any coastal dwellers that there's loads of driftwood on the beaches after the recent storms. We went and got a good load this morning - it will be dry in time for next winter's fires. I love a free fire.

Cookware - hob to halogen?
I'm after something shallow with no handles or a detachable handle that can sit on the hob to part cook then go into a halogen oven. Is there such a thing? Aldi doing washing soda on Sunday 16th February
Just got the special buys email and there it is..I have seen loads of posts on OS saying they can't find washing soda in the big 4. They are also doing the dishwasher cleaner which is just as good as the much more expensive Finish product.

i am thinking of getting a halogen oven and i have two contenders. one from andrew james and the one at Next. if anyone has the Next one can you tell me if you can easily replace the bulb as i understand if it blows its going to be the bulb that goes and the andrew james one has a replacement plus states its an easy diy job
