Hi
I wondered if anyone knew the different between the one you buy for baking and the one you buy for cleaning? The only thing I can tell it that the cleaning one seems coarser?
Thanks
Ann

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘In my home’ board to the ‘Old Style’ board, where it should get more responses.

The baking bicarb will be prepared in conditions and using packaging that ensure it's fit for human consumption.
The cleaning bicarb will be less refined and packed in non foodstuff packaging."We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

I second that, one is food grade and thus far to expensive for cleaning.0

And thanks both, just wondered if there was anything too major I should know about, although I wasn't going to bake with the household stuff I use bicarb for many things (making bath bombs, tooth cleaning, etc and wanted to know how safe it was).
Cheers :beer:0
