cleaning kitchen floor
My kitchen floor has really stupid vinyl with a stipply texture, so when it is mopped the dirt stays in the textured bits. Yesterday i managed to clean one small patch by scrubbing it with a scrubbing brush, but had to stop as my back was aching, so it will take me a week to do the whole floor at that rate. Any other ideas…

Help my house smells!
We've got two kittens and two litter trays in a small terraced house and it stinks. The airfresheners make it worse, their trays are cleaned every morning and night and they themselves don't smell. How far can £5 duck crown stretch?
I am on a self imposed grocery challenge this month, aiming for £200 spend for all groceries, cleaning, toiletries etc. There are 3 of us, 2 adults and my 7yr old son, and all meals are made from scratch, including lunches for all of each day. So far I am on £120, and really pleased... Mainly meat free, but when I went in…

Dilute handwash
I've tried searching but I couldn't find any threads about this, although I'm sure there must be one Most people, I'm sure, use more handwash than they actually need. It's easy to do since pumping once will give you more than necessary. For years I've tried to only partially depress the pump but it takes a bit of care and…

Hello, Wondering if any of you can inspire me ~ we currently have a Swiss student staying with us, she doesn't eat meat apart from chicken and doesn't like cooked vegetables. During breakfast yesterday a bowl of porridge got thrown against the wall! I wiped up most of the mess and decided to wait till my babies were napping before washing it properly. Oops! It's now a seemingly permanent fixture on the wall...should have realised given how it sticks to the cereal bowls! My kitchen is yellow but…
