slight porridge on wall issue...

During breakfast yesterday a bowl of porridge got thrown against the wall! I wiped up most of the mess and decided to wait till my babies were napping before washing it properly. Oops! It's now a seemingly permanent fixture on the wall...should have realised given how it sticks to the cereal bowls!
My kitchen is yellow but evidently there was dark blue underneath, if I scrub at it even gently the paint comes off and leaves big blue marks.
Any ideas? It would have to be dirt cheap.
Thanks x

Steam from an iron maybe?
Or, dampen a cloth and fix it over the porridge with some masking tape to soften it?0 -
I was going to try and make a funny answer but it's probably not the time
Possibly keeping it wet by spraying it regularly with a mix of water and washing up liquid and see if you can ease it off. Otherwise sorry it's painting timeThe truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Cover the rest of the wall with artex to match?
Sorry. I'd cut it off as level as I could and just sand it down flat then touch up the paint.. That stuff is probably there to stay.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

Could you cover the mark with a strategically placed picture/kids drawing/insert something you can put on the wall?

Have you tried using blunt knife to hack off the lumps without damaging the wall?0
