cooking with buckwheat
when i was in russia, we used to get meals with buckwheat, it was a long time ago so i can't rembember wwhat but we used to have it as a kind of milky porridge at breakfast and as something else for tea. has anyone got any buckwheat recipes?

Has any one started using their electric blanket yet this year

turning mattress easily?
hi everyone, i have a double bed,bedknobs and broomsticks style lol i have cut to fit a base valance as i have loads of stuff under the bed to hide turning the mattress is a nightmare! the valance just pushes with the mattress? is there an easy way i havnt found yet please? oh and im doing it on my own no extra hands…

what is a slow oven?
I am making my great grandmother (who died about 30 years before I was born) ginger bread recipe for the first time and it says to put it in a slow oven until it's cooked (really helpful!). What is a slow oven? I have put it in at about 130C - does that sound about right?
