Can i steam a christmas pudding in my tefal steamer,i know i`ll have to keep and eye on the water level but thought it maybe easier? Thanks Sue

My cake won't cook!
Has anyone ever made this...... http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2010/jan/14/allegra-mcevedys-swedish-apple-cake It's been in the oven and hour and a half now and the knife still doesn't come out clean! Do you think it's one where it just isn't supposed to do that?? I thought all cakes did!

Oven temps for fan assisted
Hi all :D I just made banana cake and it was overcooked, the oven temp was 180c, i have a fan assisted and it never had a time for that. so is there a rule of thumb for fan assisted temperatures , ie drop it down by 20c or something?
