Several product reviews show people steaming xmas puds in a Vitamin steamer and a Tefal 4-in-1 rice cooker/steamer, so I don't see why not.
Doesn't it have a buzzer if the water runs out?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

I cooked my homemade ones in my tefal steamer fine (3 hours each), i didnt have to top the water up either because it has an overflow thingy where the water goes back to the bottom bit ofter being collected in the top bit (if that makes sense?) but i kept an eye on it anyway. hth0
