If you had bought some vegetables - carrots, swede, parsnips etc from a supermarket, how long after their best before date would you use them for? swede yellow?
I tried cooking turnip/swede before, boiling but it didn't turn yellow It turns yellow when my mum does it? I'm doing it again now and it's not going yellow. Is it because I'm not adding salt? Should I add salt as if I were cooking potatoes.

Left over cooked meat in Slow Cooker??
