I caught the trailer for the show the other night and it looks a good prog :j Different families or groups of people will feature each week and 2 chefs will show them how to spend less, but still eat well on a budget. The show airs on BBC2 on the 5th August (don't know what time though yet!)

rinse or not?
I am sure this has been asked before. But what do you do!!!!!! I don't rinse my dishes after I wash them, and I have never had a soapy taste off them, But are you supposed to rinse them?

Glut of Bramley and eating apples
We have two eating apple trees and a bramley apple tree which have fruited very heavily this year. Even after giving away to family and friends..we always have loads left over. I still have some left over from last year (frozen) Any ideas what we can do with them...would be greatly appreciated.

what alternative is there to a spending diary, i just can't get along with one, i manage about 2 days and then i forget to write something in and think oh beggar it! and then i don't bother again so what could i use instead?

Do you wash your washing again if rained on?
Something I've never really thought about until we got an outdoor rotary line recently ... I've just put freshly washed bed linen out to dry and we've just had a 5 minute light shower while it was out ... now I don't know whether to wash it again or not?! Burp x
