Where has Biotex gone
Biotex seems to have disappeared off the shelves of the supermarkets to be replaced by the ridiculously expensive absolutely useless Vanish. I have got two shirts today that I have done a pre wash with using the c**p vanish and they are still stained. I am so cross, I have searched the net to see if I can buy it online, I…

Living on my own
I’ve had a look-see at some of the other threads, but most of the ones I have seen about budgeting for one seem to date from before the beginning of the recession (I am tired of calling it the “credit crunch”!) and the increasing number of food prices rises so I’m not sure the prices there reflect reality . Why am I asking…

Does anyone know a good parts supplier for older machines and overlockers?
Hi, I'm hoping someone out there can give me some names or links for companies who can supply parts for a Janome/New Home overlocker - it's over 20years old, and working great until my mother in law lost a part! Janome can't help as it's obsolete, but I'm hoping some of you OSers will be able to give me a good lead or two.…
