Ok, strange question...
Is there anything MS I can do with eggboxes? I always feel bad about throwing them away because they look like they might be useful but I can't think of a use!
Any suggestions!?

compost them
use them as seed starter pots then plant the whole thing

Hi hon!
I was about to suggest the same thing as Valli (Hello Valli hon
) and we also use them for chitting new potatoes.
Apart from that - they are great for a variety of craft projects with kids!

Do you have any farm shops near you? If they sell eggs then they'll probably be glad of the eggboxes.0

I am lucky where I live the council recycles the cardboard and plastic ones so they go in the recycling bin.
You could use them for seedlings which is what I used to doBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I save ours for one of the old-timers at the allotment who keeps hens. It was funny, though, because last time I saw him and his wife in town I said, "Oh, I've got loads of eggboxes to pass on." He looked really pleased for a moment and offered me some eggs, until his wife said, "He doesn't even like eggs."
No wonder he trundles down to the allotment twice a day0 -

If you go camping they are really useful if you fancy a boiled egg and haven't got any egg cups.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

I use them to ripen tomatoes so they dont touch and go mouldy.
Also in my camper van I cut some plastic ones so that it fitted in my fridge door so I have an egg holder, like in a fridge you would have at home.0 -
