MealPlans WB 15th June 2009

Wow.....middle of June already:eek::eek::eek::eek:...only 5 weeks till the kids break up for the sumer holidays:eek::eek::eek::eek::rotfl:

Here is our mealplan:

Sunday-Lamb, Roasties, New Pots, Carrots, Parsnips, Yorkies & Peas
Monday-Sausage, Mash, Cabbage, Sweetcorn & Mushroom/Onion Gravy
Tuesday-Quiche, New Pots & Salad
Wednesday-Chicken, Mini Roasties, Carrots, Peas & Parsnips
Thursday-Baked Spud with Cheese/Beans or Tuna/Sweetcorn Mayo
Friday-Indian:o
Saturday-BBQ

    Am doing ours right now. Here's what I have:

    Dinners

    Thursday: Crab Tart, HM Oven Chips and Salad
    Friday: Tuna and Sweetcorn Pasta Bake with Garlic Baguette and Salad
    Saturday: Chilli Nachos and Crudites with Yoghurt Dip
    Sunday: Chicken Casserole (with onion, carrots and broad beans), Baby Sweetcorn and HM Oven Chips. Followed by Baked Apples and Blueberries with Cream. (Tea) Beetroot Sandwiches and crisps. Bramley and Walnut Flapjacks.
    Monday: Italian Fish Bake with Boiled Potatoes and Salad
    Tuesday: Kidney Bean and Sweetcorn Couscous
    Wednesday: Keema with Naans and Salad

    Puds can be fruit, cheese, celery, crackers, yoghurt, semolina, rice pud, vanilla/choc pud.

    Mid-Week Lunches
    Fri: Cottage Cheese and Roasted Red Pepper Sandwiches, apple
    Mon: Chicken Mayo Salad Sandwiches, apple
    Tue: Mature Cheddar Salad Sandwiches, apple
    Wed: Kidney Bean and Sweetcorn Couscous, apple
    Thu: Red Devil Pate and Salad Sandwiches, apple

    Breakfasts are any combo of grapefruit, toast with HM jam/HM marmalade/HM peanut butter/Marmite, and branflakes with sultanas. DD has asked for porridge last couple of days even tho doesn't feel like porridge weather to me! So porridge for DD if she wants.

    Snacks can be fresh/dried fruit, crackers, celery, carrot, or Bramley and Walnut Flapjack.

    As ever, vast majority of meat, poultry and dairy are organic ;)

    Hi! This week we're having:

    Sat - hm macaroni cheese with peas and broccoli trees
    Sun - hm fr chicken and veg casserole with roast potatoes
    Mon - hm meatballs (from freezer) with mash and veg
    Tue - hm salmon fishcakes (from freezer) and salad
    Wed - hm spaghetti bolognaise (batch for freezer) and salad
    Thu - egg + chips
    Fri - tuna jacket potato and salad

    Sunday : lunch with the in-laws
    Monday : Toad in the hole (with wedges of red onion and dollops of apple sauce in the batter too) with mash
    Tuesday : Harissa-spiced lamb burgers with sweet potato wedges
    Wednesday: Thai-style steamed trout and vegetables
    Thursday: Tandoori chicken with pilau rice and tomato/coriander chutney
    Friday: Beef Stroganoff and fettuccine
    Saturday : out

    Monday - Microwave butternut squash risotto
    Tuesday - Chicken noodle soup
    Wedneday - Veggie shepards pie
    Thursday - Bang bang chicken with salad
    Friday - HM wedges, minted peas, salad and chicken(if amy left over)

    No meals on sat/sun as I'm away for a friends birthday...

    Weds:-HM meatballs and pasta or mash
    Thurs:-HM chicken pie with potatoes and veg
    Fri:- Cauliflower and potato curry in slowcooker with rice and naan
    Sat :- Egg,chips and beans
    Sun:- Roast gammon joint with new pots,cauliflower cheese and runner beans

    Monday - Fish Steaks/Fingers, HM Wedges & Beans

    Tuesday - Beans & Scrambled Eggs on Toast followed by Fresh Fruit Salad

    Wednesday - Sausage Pasta

    Thursday - Fritatta, Salad & Garlic Bread

    Friday - Pasta Bake

    Saturday - Lasagne, Garlic Bread & Salad

    Sunday - Roast Chicken, New Potatoes & Salad

    I am planning for us to have ....

    Saturday: spaghetti carbonara, salad (bacon on the side)
    Sunday: roast pork, apple sauce, roast potatoes, roast parsnip, carrots, gravy
    Monday: special fried rice with roast pork & prawns (veg option for daughter)
    Tuesday: aubergine & tomato pasta bake (V)
    Wednesday: minestrone soup & crusty bread (V)
    Thursday: risotto with whatever veg I have, salad (V)
    Friday: crumbed fish, oven chips, baked beans
    Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600
    Overpayments to date: £3000
    June grocery challenge: 400/600

    Ooh a new weeks meal planning, this week we're having:

    Sat: BBQ with the family
    Sun: lasagne and garlic bread (using batch cooked mince)
    Mon: Tuna pasta bake
    Tues: dinner at parent's after WW meeting
    Wed: chicken tonight and mashed potato
    Thurs: pasta bolognese
    Fri: Morroccan lamb and cous cous

    Will be easy to stick too as we're short of money and everything is in already
    Debt free 11/05/11!

    Wow, I completely missed this thread. Here goes mine for this week: :)

    Monday: Sweet & Sour Chicken with Noodles (need to buy mushrooms)
    Tuesday: Meat Feast Pasta (we're out, so we might not use. If not used, it'll be Wednesday's)
    Wednesday: Meat Feast Pasta OR Spanish Omelette
    Thursday: Chilli con Carne with Chip Shop Chips (buy a 70p kids' portion of chips between us for a treat)
    Friday: Beef Stroganoff (buy steak)
    Saturday: Thai Prawn Curry with Noodles (buy prawns)
    Sunday: Roast Chicken, Bacon Stuffing, Roast Potatoes with Carrots & Broccoli (and gravy)

    I actually managed to plan all the way up to the end of the week, so I am very happy with that :D
