If a recipe says to use 2 garlic cloves how much garlic powder would you use instead? (I have the powder in the cupboard & want to use that before buying fresh garlic if possible)

Hi lurker,
I use about a teaspoon for one clove but it's not an exact science and will depend on how much you like garlic.
This earlier thread may help:

I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.
