I have just purchased some new boots from New Look (in the sale obviously!) but they are not real leather - I don't know how to look after them - do I use normal boot polish to stop them from cracking across the crease when I walk or do I not put anything on them?

slow cooker question
I have my brisket etc in the slow cooker but now I am having to go out. Is it safe to leave it on? Will be gone for a good couple of hours!
