can I ask for some baking advice?
I've been trying out the flaky bar recipe (found it on the monthly grocery list) and while it is really tasty mine has turned out very crumbly. Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong? Thanks Kate

economic kettle?
The minimum amount of water I can boil in my kettle is enough for 2 cups of coffee - it annoys me :rotfl: Is there a kettle out there where I can boil one cups worth of water at a time? I don't have a microwave.

M&S style layered vegetables - how to make
M&S do a layered vegetable side dish which come in a clear plastic pudding basin type container and is cooked in the microwave. I would like to make something similar using grated courgette, grated carrot and a mix of other veg probably including peas and sweetcorn. I could probably work out how to do it by trial and error…

when is the best time to buy sacks of onions

Changing 'brands' at Lidl
recently we have noticed that the packaging and 'brand names' on a lot of stuff is changing at lidls. I know that it is all made for lidl and the actual product inside seems the same but I was wondering if anyone knows the reason why?. I have noticed it on tea, showergel, mini chocs amongst others.
