My husband isnt well at all and I am trying to drastically change how we eat, was advised to put him on the low GI diet. I read a bit about it and it seems to be veg, salad, fish and chicken. He will be starving without something a bit more filling ! However healthy it sounds, salad and an apple is not a filling satisfying…

Curry!
Righty-oh, I'm not a regular poster on OS because, basically, I know jack all about it, but I'm a regular lurker and keen to learn. For too long I've been lazy, not mealplanned, and just nipped into Asda's or wherever on the way home to pick something up for tea. I think this is symptomatic of having a responsible job…

Laminate floor
Have had my laminate floor for about a year. It is dark mahogony and very shiny. Recently I have noticed it has gone dull with sort of a white film where the computer chair is. I presume I should have had a mat but is there anything I can clean it with to return it to its former glory. I have only used strdrops diluted .

Skins
When I was cooking a meal yesterday I used mange tout and filled potato skins. When I was little, the pea pods and the potato skins would have gone onto the compost heap. Food has fashions too.
