Butter

Dont know if this is just a Scottish thing, but Mr T and Mr S both stock Rowan Glen Spreadeasy butter, its only 70p for 250g so is cheaper than basics butter. I discovered it last week and have been using it in all my baking etc and its absolutely fine. The side of the pack lists the only added ingredient as salt so it is not full of nasties either. I currently have 8 pats in my fridge before they bump the price up:rolleyes:

I notice Asda also stock this cheaper than their own cheapest value type butter.

I found the exact same thing the last time I ordered from Tesco! It's just butter, I guess a bit whipped up to make it easier to spread. But, since the weight is the same, there's no downside.
