Laminate floor

Options
Have had my laminate floor for about a year. It is dark mahogony and very shiny. Recently I have noticed it has gone dull with sort of a white film where the computer chair is. I presume I should have had a mat but is there anything I can clean it with to return it to its former glory. I have only used strdrops diluted .

The white film is actually the melamine surface wearing down. You can use a repair putty to fill in any really deep gauges.

To prevent this get rubber castors on the wheels of the chairs. The damage is irreversible.
