old fashoined pulley maids
Just want to spread the word. I use an old fashioned pulley maid to dry my washing on wet or damp days. It hangs over the landing at the top of the stairs out of the way and the heat from downstairs rises and drys the washing. It cost me £40, but with 4 kids in the house ( 5 if you include my husband) I reckon I've got my…

Dyeing Cashmere - anyone tried it?
Hi OSers. Have any of you tried dyeing cashmere and if so with what results? I've got a pink cashmere jumper which has gone a bit 'grey' and faded. There's nothing wrong with it apart from looking a bit tired. Seems a shame to sling it and I was wondering if the colour could be freshened up with dye. Thanks in advance.
