Best baked beans?
I've always bought Heinz baked beans but the last tin I had tasted far too salty. I've tried the "healthy" one from Tescoa but found it too sweet. Can anyone recommend baked beans that are not too sweet or salty?

Dark black patches on electric hob hotplate

just have to share. i made beef pies for 32p!
i was fortunate enough to get a pie maker on freecycle, and just wanted to share my sucess of making cheap meals with it!! I brought one packet of froozen pastry £1.92 only used one block so 96p. one tin of princes stewing steak £1.00 and made 6 individual pies in my pie maker! £1.96 for six beef pies =32p each!!!

Converting marg measurements to oil...
Hi gang! Does anyone out there know how to convert the marg measurement of a recipe to oil? If I need 4oz marg do I do a straight conversion & use 4oz oil?? And is there a measurement conversion table anywhere ie. cups to tablespoons to ounces to pints etc?? I'm very confused! :confused: Thanks!

i love hard boiled egg in sandwiches, but don't have time to boil them and let them cool in the morning. How long can you keep boiled eggs in the fridge? is in shell better than shelled and lock and locked? thanks jodie
