Best baked beans?

I've always bought Heinz baked beans but the last tin I had tasted far too salty. I've tried the "healthy" one from Tescoa but found it too sweet. Can anyone recommend baked beans that are not too sweet or salty?

Branston fan here too but I can't get over my love of Heinz as a childhood favourite - I would be gutted if Heinz stopped making beans so I still buy the odd can :D

i prefer Aldi's baked beans to be honest. I had to get a tin of heinz the other day from the corner shop (thought i had a tin for dinner, turned out i didn't, you know how it goes), paid three times the amount for the privilege, and they didn't taste as nice in the end up!

    gimme Aldi's beans any day!

I've always preferred Heinz beans but are finding them far too salty these days, so we hardly eat any. It's interesting to read other people's views on other brands and think we might try a few and see how they compare.

I don't like a watery sauce though or hard bullets for beans, so which have soft beans with a thickish sauce?
