Best baked beans?

Aldi's Baked Beans are the only beans apart from Heinz that our lot will eat.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

how do the prices of tinned stuff at Aldi compare to those of value food at the others? (We are a long way for any supermarkets and they are all in different directions so I thought I'd check before we go.) It used to be that the value stuff in mainline supermarkets was often cheaper than teh Aldi equivalent but I've not been since it all went up recently so am not sure if Aldi/Lidl have also put all theri tinned stuff up.0

I try and buy baked beans when they are on offer. Find the multipacks appear to have more sauce than single tins though (is it my imagination?)
I've found that the Branston Beans are just as nice (if not nicer) than the Heinz beans.

I buy the Aldi ones, they are much nicer than value ones which I find watery and hard, they cost 29pGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0

Hi Catkinq,
There's an earlier thread with other old stlyer's opinions on the best baked beans so I've added your thread to it.
This thread may help you too:

Branstons are the best. Heinz are watery compared to them. They're often on BOGOF or half price for the multi-packs as well. You also get Branstons Bloomin Big Baked Beans, I buy them cos I like their name lol (but only on offer!)0

I'm going to give Aldi a go after posts on here. We've been eating Asda 'healthy' ones for years but recently there's been more and more 'juice' and less and less beans. We love 'home-made' with black treacle, belly pork etc but to us that's another vegetable side-dish not something you can just eat for breakfast or a quick lunch/tea.0

Lidl's baked beans are really good. I was shocked to see yesterday that they had upped the price of their tinned tomatoes from 19P to 33P, thats a big jump.0

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Cross and Blackwell beans. They sell them in Iceland at £1 for a 4 pack. They do Cross and Blackwell tinned spaghetti for the same deal too.
It's all we buy now. The sauce is very thick and tasty and the beans are not hard either!I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!
I seem to have a nasty habit of killing threads!0
