Good evening :) I bought two large gammon joints and put them striaght in the freezer. I am thinking of doing something with one on sunday but not sure how I cook one I have never bought gammon before :o Or is there something i could do with it thats a little different

how long does opened bacon last?
is bacon safe that has been opened in the fridge for a week? It still smells OK? How would I know if it was off? My wife is pregnant, so I want to be careful...

cooked ham on the bone can I freeze

Can I 'feed' a shop-bought fruit cake?
Un-iced christmas cakes are 75% off in M&S at the moment. They're very nice so I've bought two. The best before date is the end of March, but could I make one keep longer by feeding it whisky? I'd only want it to last a couple more months, but the labels says not to freeze it. cheers,
