Are New Zealand cups the same as US cups?

Dear all,

I am looking at the Easiyo recipie book and there is one for strawberry cheesecake but its all the cup system:confused: . I looked on their website but no joy.

Is there only 1 cup system ( if you see what I mean!!);)

Any help appreciated

  • Australian cup size is different to usa.
1 Australian cup = 1 1/4 usa cups and british cups.

    hope that helps!!

I have a 1/2 cup that I brought with me from NZ, it is 125ml. Just checked my set I bought here, and it is exactly the same. So you can use the easiyo recipe without any problems, but I think it's correct that the US cups are different.

  • Thank you so much specappeal and kunekune for replying. I love cheesecake but my husband doesn't like it made with cheese so I was delighted when I fond the recipie that uses yoghurt.

Off to the kitchen now to experiment:T :j
