Cleaning a stubborn kitchen cabinet

It's meant to be white but over the years has become yellowed with darker drips (I guess because of the kitchen grease). I decided to tackle it today. I've consecutively tried bleach, Stardrops, bicarb paste, white vinegar, even Cillit Bang, washing with water between each application, but nothing's shifting it. Help! Is there any hope?

I'd try some of that stick on plastic.

If all else fails disguise it.

Is it a wooden cabinet painted white ? If it is you could rub down the paint with a wire scourer and put another coat on (different colour) rubbing the paint off here and there to give it an 'aged' look.

If it's melamine...........I've got bedroom furniture in the bedrooms of the teenagers I foster and you wouln't believe the mess they get in. Still, when they get beyond cleaning a coat of paint can do the trick. Did that with my computer desk............one coat of cream on top of the white, then a coat of very light brown, dry brushed to give it a grainy look then varnished -several times.

It's melamine. There's no grease left but it appears to have stained the plastic beyond redemption. We were just talking yesterday about getting a new kitchen - I think this may be the time as it's all pretty grotty really. Thanks guys.

I'd second the CIF suggestion in the meantime - I know it's the only thing that shifts stuff on my kitchen doors.
