Blu-Loo
Is there an alternative to blu-loos? I want something to colour the water rather than clean the toilet. I'm experimenting with not flushing the loo for just "liquid deposits" but have found the water in the bowl gets darker each time i use it.

Help me meal plan from my stock inventory!
So, I've spent the afternoon cleaning out and doing an inventory of the cupboards, the fridge and the freezer. I want to try and keep shopping to fruit, veg,…

Have a casserole in the oven (beef and cranberry, the cranberry goes in at the end) and want to use some potato croquettes I found in the fridge. How to make HM pasta bake for storage?
Apologies for the strange thread title! I buy homepride pasta bakes (mainly spicy tomato, tomato & bacon and creamy carbonara) because I find them so convenient. To the untrained (;)) you pour dry pasta into a pyrex then cover with the jar of sauce, and half a jar of water. Bung in oven for 20 min, then stir & cover with…

washing a handbag
On and off during the summer I've been using a reasonably large white heavy cotton handbag, as you can imagine it is now a bit grubby. I think I could wash it in the machine (preferred option)or even scrub it with a nail brush... but... at the bottom of the bag, there is cardboard stiffening between the outside material…
