Hi there, I have one dd who is 3 1/2 and my second baby on the way in a few months. Im finding time to be a little on the short side these days and im getting concered for when no 2 arrives. What Im hoping is for some food advice really as I would like to cook some batches of food to freeze so Im not having to cook meals…

Bread.... Again !
After several naff loaves from the breadmaker (I don't know what I do wrong :confused: ) I decided to make my own bread by hand :T I have tried 2 recipes, one from here and one for Naan bread which uses yoghurt and was delish - I will adapt it to make cheese and onion bread, herb bread etc - Both were great, so much better…

Strawberries smelling 'bad'
Why do strawberries smell so flipping awful these days - I bought some and used half, the other half are now smelling so bad that I raked the fridge to find something which had gone off. Located the smell in the strawberry punnet. This has happened before - is there any reason for it cos I feel like putting them in the bin…

pea and ham soup but with out the peas

How much for a free range chicken?
Hi all :hello: Would be really grateful if anyone who buys whole free range chickens could give me some prices to compare with. I've never bought/cooked a whole bird before (:o) but the farm that my chicken/pork comes from charges £4.72/kg (for a min 1.5kg chicken). Is this about right? Thanks muchly x

Cleaning marks from black granite sink
I've got a black granite sink in my kitchen and have soaked some mircofibre cloths in some wash powder for a few hours. The sink bottom is now covered in white marks upto where the water was. How can I clean these off? Have tired scrubbing with Stardrops but to no avail, anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

Mississippi mud tart?
Does anyone have a recipe for this? It was a tart with something like jam in the pastry at the bottom, a coffee mousse like stuff and topped with a hard icing which I guess was dark chocolate and cream together. Its the chocolate mousse I'd like to copy the most! Thanks!

what happened to my Yorkshire Pudding?
What am I doing wrong, my yorkshires are always soggy in the middle and dont cook properly. I heat a small amount of oil in roasting tin til smoking, use normal batter mix and have oven at 220 degrees. No Space - any ideas on best/cheapest way to store recycling outside?
I can imagine us buying lots of different containers and ending up wasting money.
