bread maker - sugar query
I made some bread yesterday in the breadmaker using my own ingredients and not a ready made packet if you know what I mean. Somehow i glanced a a receipe and then just bunged ingredienst in and forgot the sugar - It all rose well and came out ok so was just wondering what the sugar is for??

How do you use Apples if you don't like them
We have 5 apple trees in the garden, 3 of them are cooking apples. I have never used them in the 15 years I've lived here but since joining this forum think that I should.
