Leftover stuffing?

Everytime I have a roast chicken for Sunday lunch I am always left with some uneaten stuffing , apart from eating in cold chicken sandwiches does anyone have any ideas what else I could do with it? There is some chicken leftover too I wonder if I could make some sort of chicken rissole? I ususally end up throwing it out.....

Thanks

  • Make stuffing balls and freeze until you need them. Next time use the balls - no stuffing to make.I freeze gravy also if I make too much, then just use next time around.

  • Mum used to always put it in the stew on Monday - lovely when cooked in the gravy

Love stuffing sarnies - had them for lunch myself :)

  • Have Monday hash - leftover roast meat, leftover veg, leftover stuffing plus leftover gravy, all heated up till piping hot- yum:D
  • Yes, that's what I do with mine too. Tastes better second time round too! :rotfl:
  • I often have left over stuffing and meat from sunday, so on monday I put what ever meat there is left over and the stuffing in a big dish and pour over yorkshire pudding mix bake in the oven. It's lovely and makes a little meat go a long way

    Hi
I would freeze it too, or make a hash, if its a mix you could use it as a crunchy topping for a bake made from leftovers
