Leftover stuffing?

^^^ oooh...I like!0

I saute onions, peppers and some bacon bits, then add the stuffing mix and an egg, then water. If you've got water from cooking vege's it's good to use it.
Put it in a greased tin, and bake. It makes a savoury loaf as a main course. You can also use it to make stuffed peppers, again as a main. Very quick and easy.0 -
Like the sound of both of the above.
Me, I could eat stuffing on its own..... love it.
In sandwiches with cold meat, or in sandwiches with...more stuffing....0 -
Hi Threemuttleys
There is a thread about leftover stuffing here which should offer you some help and suggestions.
I'll add your thread to that one later. For me there never is any leftover, but I would have it in a sandwich with chicken and cranberry
Thanks

Want to start up stairs but don't dare as once I start won't want to stop sorting.
Will start again tommorrow I think, trouble is keep getting the practice contractions so end up in a warm bath most nights and sit there thinking about how I could be sorting the linen cupboard out instead :rotfl:.

Perfect to make Patties. Patties are a hull chip shop specialty.
Mix some smash (instant potato) with the stuffing and mix with hot water till you have a firm consistency (like mash should be!).
Make into patties, dip in batter and shallow fry.

use it to coat some pork fillet . bash the fillet really hard to flatten it out then cut into pieces and dip in flour, egg and then dry stuffing mix instead of breadcrumbs and roast in the oven it makes the pork fillet go so much further and tastes really good.Extremely filling meal, so you can use less fillet. I have also done this with smaller pork chops to streeetch them a bit0
