Anyone had a lightbulb moment with anything OS-related ?
I've been a bit of an OS all my life, but OH has been somewhat....er.... erratic with his money habits. He's a musician and has been a bit head in the sand when work is in short supply... anyway, we went to Lidl the other day after I read about the money you could save on here, and when we got to the checkout and it was…

Just done my first freecycle offer
I put a lounge cabinet a matching hifi unit and a gas fire on and 2 out of three are going with someone coming to see the third. It feels good to know that they are going to be used not just sent to landfill:j Where's the polishing halo smiley:rolleyes:

Can You Name This Kitchen Gadget Please!
Fond this whilst clearing out my elderly aunt's house last week. It has no instructions & no makers name or brand on it. It comes with 2 removable wire stands inside, one almost as high as the lid line, the other sits much nearer the bottom. The thing which is really puzzling us is the dial on the top which says "Reheat…

Why has my soup gone off?
I made cream of vegetable soup last night, it usually lasts for a couple of days, but when I went to put it in plastic boxes this evening to freeze, it smelt a bit weird. Also has a different taste than normal, difficult to describe. Anyone know why it's gone a bit funny - I'm eating it because I don't think it'll do me…
