Advice Needed - Garage Replaced Wrong Tyres
Hi there. My OH had 2 x illegal tyres on the rear of her car, which I pointed out to her. She took the car in for a service and asked the garage to quote for replacement rear tyres. The price was reasonable compared to other local tyre fitters, so told them to go ahead. When I got home last night I noticed that the 2 rear…

MOT requirement - opening windows?
A strange one but my MOT is due in June. Recently my old banger's drivers window winding mechanism completely broke and couldn't be fixed. My work colleague has siliconed the window shut so it doesn't keep opening when I'm driving. Would this be an MOT failure or is there no need for an opening window?

It is garaged but tax would enable test drives. If I do, should I keep the tax disc for a refund or include it in the sale? Should…
