Big bubbles inb exterior paint (painted two years ago)?
Hope this is the right place to post this. I have just been outside (pouring down with rain), to check a few things and have noticed that the exterior paint on the house (exterior walls) is "bubbling" - large bubbles (well quite a lot in the region of 20cm). Have prodded one or two and they are definitely bubbles - i.e.…

2nd opinion over plumbing work / process of choosing a plumber
hi there, very grateful to have this forum - it's a nice place to learn and give knowledge my parents are recently redoing a lot of work, particularly with their underfloor heating. Their idea is that you find a good plumber through a recommendation, talk to him about the work, and if he can do it, hire him. They are more…

Woodburner seasonal price variations
Hi all We're looking at buying a woodburner, but we've been told that we're better off waiting to buy it in the spring as we'll find prices for both it and installation will be a lot cheaper. So I wondered if this is true?

Signed estimate, is it legally binding?

Halstead Hi Ace constantly firing up then lockout
Hi, We inherited this boiler with our new house 18 months ago and it's always had a problem of going into lockout roughly every 5th time it fired up when we have to reset it - awkward if you're in the shower but cope-with-able. Once, last winter, the resetting wouldn't work and after consulting the manual I found there is…
