Instructions for worktop jig
Can anyone help. I've got a Unika kitchen worktop jig for a router, but only have the last page of the instructions. The other page is *somewhere* in the house, but I have no idea where. Does anyone have any instructions they could scan in, or know where I might find them on line? I've had a quick look, but thought I'd ask…

Chip in newly fitted quartz worktop - can I complain?
I had a quartz worktop fitted yesterday, I checked it over, signed off the job and paid. Unfortunately I have now discovered a chip in one of the pieces that the worktop fitters have filled with white silicone (presumably to cover up the chip). Because the worktop has silver flecks in it I did not see the silicone filler…

Efficient boiler use
We have a 3 year old A rated condensing boiler. The temparture of the water heated by the boiler can be adjusted. We have thermostatic valves throughout the house. Loft insulation problem
Hiya, We had some people round to insulate our loft this week and there's a bit of a problem. Basically, I had presumed they would take up the loft boards, lay the insulation and then put the boards back on top. Instead what they did was poke a big hose through the loft hatch and fire insulation over every surface. So the…

Shed or log cabin
Hello We were thinking of getting a shed/log cabin as we could use the space but we are not very sure of what is best. We will be using it mainly as storage but not just of garden stuff. There will be other things in there (a matress for example) which can't get damaged by dampness. But the prices between a shed and a log…
