In your case it would be a washing line..
A fraction of the initial outlay & no running costs.Not Again0 -

:rotfl:Had to laugh, sorry.
I use both with all the dirty washing I have in my house, my rule is if its over 5c and dry outside it's on the line and then on the maiden overnight if it needs finishing off. In the dryer if it's chucking it down.
I get the weather forecast on the news first thing and then decide where the washing's going. Don't I live an eventful and exciting life?
Mind you, I've had to dash for it on occasion when the beeb gets it wrong!
One other thing, ignore the gentle spin stuff, give it a good high spin before using the dryer, it takes a lot less time and the spinner uses far less power than the dryer... every little helps.

I agree. My washing goes out even if it's freezing as long as it's not raining. A little bit of breeze will dry anything. I finish my towels off in the airing cupboard and I iron my duvet covers and pillowcases while damp anyway.
I'd never get a tumble dryer, my electricity bill is big enough as it is."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
The Kenwood Chef is my favourite. I use mine every day and would hate to be without it.0

This is not an appliance but integrated waste and recycling bin makes the kitchen so much tidier than a standalone bin0
