How deep is the channel?0

I've found Wickes general purpose plaster is fairly easy to get a good consistency and goes on pretty well despite being cheap. I'm assuming this is to cover some wiring in which case you need to ensure the cable is covered with some conduit because plaster can attack the insulation.
Depending on how deep it is you may want to fill it in a couple of attempts.Adventure before Dementia!0 -

Its a channel that had to be cut to fit a bath in a very narrow bathroom..Not Again0 -
Thistle one coat, or bonding coat and polyfiller if you don't plaster much.0
