Can anyone help with my radiator heating problem? When I put the heating on all radiators warm up nicely. But after about an hour the one radiator in the living room will start to cool down and eventually go cold while all other radiators around the house stay warm. Any suggestions.

I'm in the process of buying a kitchen tap and have settled on this from the TapCentre. As a new user i can;t post a direct link but put this after the initial tapcentre .com bit /en/kitchen-taps/modern-kitchen-taps/berkley-kitchen-tap.php in the brushed Nickel finish. New bathroom
We have been living with the bathroom that came with our house for the last seven years, but after a leak from the bath over the weekend (crack in the plastic) we looked at it and saw, knackered bath, loose and mouldy bath panels, less than pleasant coloured suite, warped leaky laminate flooring, wonky tiling, knackered…

Kitchen corner "void"
I'm measuring up for my kitchen refit and considering leaving a floor-level corner as "void" instead of going for a magic corner type thing. Are there any disadvantages in this apart from potential waste of space ? I'm going to have sufficient units for our needs, I just wondered if leaving a void makes any difference. ?

Cost of replastering?
Hi all I'm in the process of selling my flat in London and the buyer's survey says that the plaster on one wall may have blown and needs replacing. Buyer wants to take £1600 off the purchase price to account for this cost. Personally I think the plaster's sound. However, leaving that aside, can anyone give me an idea of…

Wooden floors - do they require underlay?
Hi, I would like to fit wooden flooring in the hall way. I understand that 'engineered' floors require some sort of underlay. Do 'solid' floors also require underlay? Is there any good brands of underlay that I should be aware of, preferably with sound deadening qualities (so I don't hear high heels clattering everywhere!)…

Cavity wall insulation?
I've moved to a house that was built originally as a bungalow in about 1964, then had an extension in the mid 90's to convert the roof space into two bedrooms and to provide a garage and new kitchen on the side. I use a downstairs room as an office (I work from home) but find it really cold in the daytime, especially now…

Loft insulation in house with no eaves
My house has a sloping roof flush with the external wall (no overhang). Loft insulation advice always recommends leaving a gap around the eaves for ventilation - is it safe to ignore this and insulate up to the corners in my case? Or am I better off leaving a gap anyway? There is no specific ventilation, or visible…

Existing programmer is a Potterton EP2002, 2 wires going into it, Potterton Profile boiler, 3-way motorised valve, thermostat.
