Cost of replastering?

Hi all
I'm in the process of selling my flat in London and the buyer's survey says that the plaster on one wall may have blown and needs replacing. Buyer wants to take £1600 off the purchase price to account for this cost.
Personally I think the plaster's sound. However, leaving that aside, can anyone give me an idea of how much it should cost to take blown or partly blown plaster off one wall (ceiling height about 12', wall length about 10') and replaster, repaper, repaint etc? Am I right in thinking £1600 is high?

We paid £300 for plastering a whole room, about 10ft x 6ft including ceiling, our walls are more like 8ft high and we're in Midlands not London, but even still, buyer is having a laugh.
We did take plaster off ourselves though. And maybe they are thinking they will have to decorate whole room to get colours right...0 -
It’s not aimed at you but there does seem to be almost a standard developing that the asking price of property is assumed to be for a perfect property and people want to knock the cost of repairing any defects off the asking price rather than the asking price being for the house “as is”, warts and all.
Maybe it’s the state of the market?0 -

vaio, that certainly does seem to be the case with our buyers... they have asked questions about absolutely everything right down to the make of the shower fittings and have inspected to death including sending a plumber and electrician round. They are not willing to leave anything to chance...!0 -

They really want your flat
Their quote is high , make a counter ( low ) offer .plaster on one wall may have blown and needs replacing.

Personally I'd tell them that 'may have blown' does not equate to 'needs replacing', and if they want to replace it, then its up to them, but not at your cost.For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0

If you knock £1600 off there's no guarantee that they will ever do the work anyway. And to suggest that you should pay for the papering as well when they're probably going to dedecorate anyway...
Either they're obsessive about perfection, or they're just trying to find a justification to get the price down-what house can ever be 1000% perfect?
It really depends how badly you want to sell, and your perception of how badly they want to buy. I wouldn't reduce more than £300.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I pushed back hard saying there was no problem and £1600 was ridiculous even if there was - and they have decided to "take a view" and buy the place as is with no reduction.
Phew.
