Do we have any Corgi qualified posters ?
I have a question re. a gas fire. It was fitted 10 maybe 15 years ago and its one of those real flame ones that also heats the rocks. A GCH guy said that this particular type of unit is no longer legal as if the flame is blown out the gas will continue to flow. It sort of makes sense as the only visible controller on it is…

Can anyone recommend any good places to buy a white bathroom suite with whirlpool bath, and nice looking taps, power shower and toilet? I would be looking for a plumber to supply all of the above for me and do the fitting, as well as removing my old bathroom. I live in West London.

Washing Machine...
Hi My Hoover 1100 AM110 SIX washing machine just decided to stop spinning! The drive belt is fine, no sign of burning to indicate the motor may have burnt out. What may be the problem? I…

Opinions sought - memory foam vs latex?
Ok will try and keep this brief as poss. We ordered an unknown brand "memory foam" king size mattress. When it was delivered we discovered we had been given a Silentnight "Latex" mattress instead (maybe they have stopped stocking the memory one?) Ultimately we were after memory foam after trying a few in the shops and…

What are these insects?
My loft is full of tiny little dead insects. They're kind of pale orange in colour, with little round gauze-type wings, one each side, only about 3-4mm across including wings. I also notice them collecting in my garage. I never see them flying. Does anyone know what they are? I'm a bit concerned that when they're alive…

How do you clean bathroom tiles in shower cubicle ?
Any help with the avove please ? Grouting bit of tiles always dirty 3 or 4 days after really good clean. Thanks in anticipation . Kerry

Remote control battery..made to order???
Help!! Please!!! My son was given a rather posh looking remote controlled car for his brithday. He was thrilled (me less so!)... only we couldn't get it working for more than a few minutes at best despite following the instructions on battery charging. Rang the present donor who confessed he'd won it in a raffle and had no…

Anyone had a Dyson Service visit?
Guys, our Dyson DC07 is not picking up properly, when used as a push along cleaner. It's ok at a slight angle, ie just off the vertical, but then it loses suction the further you angle it. We've cleaned the filters, and no change. Looked on the website, and rang them up, they reckon that the £55 inc Vat includes the…
