New switch request to cancel it made but not by me?
I'm a few days into a switch request through Cheap Energy Club. I got an email today and a call from the new supplier saying I'd cancelled the switch which I did not. Anyone any experience of these kind of errors or knowledge of what might have happened.

How am I supposed to compare elec when they ask for usage and just moved in?
Just use your last place I hear you cry but I used gas for heating in the last place so it will be different. It is complicated to compare the market vs doing it for broadband. I only just moved in here a couple of weeks ago so can't tell them how much I use yet. Why can't you just see the rates regardless of usage to be…

Energy usage spreadsheet
I Googled "energy usage spreadsheet", and 2nd in the list was - Ex-Power - Spreadsheets for Gas and Electricity (thnet.co.uk) I have spent a small amount of time so far playing with the available spreadsheets (using old bills for the data to input) and they look to me to be easy to use, accurate and useful in their output…

Huge bill owed to Boost when I swapped provider although I was on PAYG
I was with Ovo then Boost for a number of years on PAYG meter, always said no to swapping even when Martin Lewis said I was paying too much, meter never ran out. Got collared but Scottish Power in my local Morrisons early Aug and agreed to swap. Biggest mistake ever, should have stayed with my gut instinct. I had saved £99…

Anybody else having problems with the clowns over at Eon?
So, my gas meter is faulty and charging me for more gas than I'm using.Eons solution is to install a smart meter. We've tried twice, and their guys had to leave without installing it for lack of access (that I wasn't informed would be an issue) and the guy not wanting to violate health and safety by standing on my kitchen…

Tonik Energy Transfer
My energy account was transferred to Scottish Power when Tonik energy ceased trading. At that time my account was £390 in credit. When the account was transferred Scottish Power said it was £290 and they would carry it over to my new account. I have tried numerous times to access my account and was unable to sign in. I…

Hi, I live in residential apartments where we cannot change the gas supplier due to sharing a communal boiler. Energy Spreadsheets - being organised?
At some point within the last month or two when i was trying to wade through the mud that is Tonik Energy, some of you were talking about how you keep tabs of your energy consumption with the use of spreadsheets and others went on to say that they know to the penny what their bill should be as all the formulas are locked…

Moved to SP from Tonik.
Although I have been moved over to SP around the 11th November I still have not had my £400 credit from Tonik appear. So far apart from providing my current meter readings on the10th October to SP I have not given them any newer readings. Those supplied readings were used on my final bill from Tonik. Not all my account on…

Economy 7 - Switching from prepaid meter to pay monthly - worth it?

I have both on the lowest setting possible (and still tinkering with it from the advice…
