Energy usage spreadsheet
Options
I Googled "energy usage spreadsheet", and 2nd in the list was - Ex-Power - Spreadsheets for Gas and Electricity (thnet.co.uk)
I have spent a small amount of time so far playing with the available spreadsheets (using old bills for the data to input) and they look to me to be easy to use, accurate and useful in their output over varying requirements.
Worth a look and play for anyone like myself that is not competent with spreadsheets.

Thanks for this. I tried it but the estimated annual consumption it gives is 75% more than my own estimate and the estimate from the energy company based on my current actual usage and usage over previous years. It seems a really good idea but not much use to me.1

It has been a few years since the origial post, but I downloaded this spread sheet about 5 months ago, and find it very usefull.I filled in all the required information, and have been using it each month, and it's forecast obviously gets better each month, but already it is within 6% of the actual as calculated by Octopus. It does say if there are differences, there is one of the inputs that can be tweaked. I have been using my own spread sheet, and in comparison, this is way better. I will post again after a year, when it may even be closer to the actual.0
