Together Energy
Anyone had any hassles with Together Energy. They started supplying me from October 3rd. I was told I would recieve details of how to log on to their online portal. I never have even though I have emailed several times, had apologies and assurances they were sorting it out. Each time they tell me they have initiated it or…

Raised direct debit
I have been with EDF for gas and electricity for 2 and a half years. Since then, I have changed my internet supplier and failed to update my details with my new email address. I sent meter readings in July this year when I realised my electricity bills had been estimated for over a year. My monthly bill then went up to…

How to use Economy 7 cost efficiently!?
Hi. I have just moved into a one bedroom flat which is electric only, supported by input/output storage heaters and a Horstmann Electronic 7 Immersion Heater. The storage heaters are quite old so they just have the input and output settings on them and a switch at the wall. I am young and naïve, I have never lived alone…

Should I remove E7 in second home?
I have just taken possession of a small grade 2 listed flat that is freezing with rubbish insulation and old sash windows. It has E7 hot water system and meter, but panel radiators and separate electric shower. The windows are due to be replaced at some point and I can't insulate further. The flat is in use at weekends and…

EDF prepayment smart meter welcome message confirm?
Bit of a silly one here, but I hope someone here could possibly help? I recently had a look at a relative's smart meter screen (on prepayment) and scrolled through the new messages section. Most were confirmations of recent top ups, but in my haste, I answered 'YES' to "Message Confirm" for the Welcome to EDF message.…

Moved Into a New Property
Hi I have recently moved into a property and took meter readings when I did. Do I need to contact the existing supplier who the previous owner was with or can I immediately go to a new different supplier (possibly the one from my previous address)?

Scottish power and Yorkshire energy
I was a Yorkshire energy customer, and have been forced to become a Scottish power customer on a high tariff. After a few conversations with SP, they tell me I have to wait for my account to be created, before I can switch, this could take over a month. They said I should not switch due to registration. They have such a…

It's not a good…

Boiler service cover
Hi all, Maybe I'm in the wrong section of the forum but I was looking for advice on the best boiler cover that gives an annual service. I have looked up ones online but I think it's best if you hear from people who have actually bought said products. I'm just in the process of switching as my annual Cheap Energy Club email…

Utility Point credit refund delays
I’m struggling to get a refund from Utility Point. I switched to Shell on the 14th September and was told by UP that it can take 32 days for Shell to give them a reading, then UP said that they then had 6 weeks to refund my £454. Fast forward to today and they say that they have a backlog and are working on it. Does anyone…

British Gas
Hey newbie here and I have a tale to tell. In the summer I was looking at my energy statement and I found out that British Gas have put me into debt with them. The issue was I was on a direct debit with them which might I add was for less than I used leaving me in a £65 debt which I wasn't to fussed about as it was about…

Smets1 Secure Meter now enrolled/adopted.
As of last night my SMETS1 Secure Meter originally installed by Eversmart has been "switched on". There was a message displayed on the ihd this morning and it is now showing a default unit rate where previously the display showed a zero. I don't expect it to show the correct rate as my Elec supplier is not yet up to speed.
