Anyone had any hassles with Together Energy. They started supplying me from October 3rd. I was told I would recieve details of how to log on to their online portal. I never have even though I have emailed several times, had apologies and assurances they were sorting it out. Each time they tell me they have initiated it or reported it to IT and should receive something in 10 days and then it doesn't happen. One guy gave me a link to the portal and said use the forgotten password function but my email address is not recognised so I assume the account hasn't been set up online.

They are supplying me and taking a monthly direct debit but other than that I have no details of my account. No access online, no account number etc. They are quite good at responding by email but nothing changes. Very annoying! I moved to them from Shell Energy because their service was useless. What is it with utility companies!

Be interested to hear of other peoples experiences.

They have been a disaster for several years !! There is a Facebook group "Together Energy customer support group" which has ~ 500 current members - many tales of woe on there. No bills ,DDs not recorded as paid, switchesw blocked for no reason etc etc
Personally I was switched to them when One Select failed in Dec.2018. Left them asap Feb 2019 without agreeing final bill. Went to the Ombudsman in Aug 2019 as they hadn't resolved my issues and got offered a satisfactory resolution by TE via ombudsman ; unfortunately NOT carried thru. Multiple attempts at a final bill (I have 6 different "final" bills downloaded!!)
Out of the blue ,they sent me a cheque " in full and final settlement" in April 2020 - no bill however - but since I owed them I banked the cheque and moved on. They are TOTALLY incompetent!!
  • Mum left them in February 2019 - still waiting for refund of her credit balance.  They told Resolver they would and still didn't.
  • I seem to be the latest victim of the shambles that is Together Energy.
Started the Switch from Together Energy end Oct 2020, DD with them was acknowledged & cancelled 16th Nov with the billing period 16th Nov to 15th Dec 2020 with the new company DD came out thought nothing more.
Then 11th Feb recieve a mail stating TE were putting together a final bill & as the account was in debt i would need to pay & could check this via the portal but as we all know TE don't put anything on the portal, i was never asked for a single meter reading or recieved a bill on the portal in the whole time i was with them bar the set up.
13th Feb i then recieve a mail with this settlement figure on it more than the usual monthly rate, nothing else no breakdown just a sum, i try to check the portal nothing, i try calling but held in Qs.
18th Feb mail to say the DD failed i'm till trying to get through & keep checking the portal & then 24th March a mail from Resolve call debt collectors saying due to a long standing debt they have been instructed to make contact.
Now all a little stressful not sure who to contact TE, Resolve Call, OFGEN Obuds as in reality TE owe me £30 for a late final bill.
I will try again with TE but would imagine they will just say not with us anymore, not sure i want to call the debt collector because if they don't have my mobile now i don't want to give it to them to hound me but at the same time i don't want them to think i'm ignoring & i also don't want the blackmark on the credit rating.
I am thinking of going down the Prove my Debt route with them, has anyone got any advice been in the same situation etc?

Generally, people who have dealt with Resolvecall over a claimed debt, have said that the debt collector pushes it back to T.E if you say that you haven't received a detailed final bill OR the bill is disputed. They don't seem to follow up very aggressively as they know what a mess T.E billing is in !!!
As per my post a few above , there is a FB group of (very) dissatisfied  T.E customers who will offer help and advice.

You can withhold your number by prefixing the called number with #31# or by changing your call settings.
