Although I have been moved over to SP around the 11th November I still have not had my £400 credit from Tonik appear. So far apart from providing my current meter readings on the10th October to SP I have not given them any newer readings. Those supplied readings were used on my final bill from Tonik.
Not all my account on SP was functioning but now I see a box where you can enter your current readings. It also lists the last actual readings. The one for Gas is the same as the reading I supplied on the 10th October. But the 2 electricity readings (I am on economy 7) are dated 11th November and are of course higher than the readings I supplied. They are described as last actual readings. But as I have not supplied any newer readings and am not yet on a smart meter these are patently not actual readings! Am I likely to end up paying for some of my energy twice? I guess as and when I get a bill it should show the starting figure's which I trust will be the same as the final figures which Tonik used. Was planning on moving my supply but am reticent until all this including my outstanding credit is sorted.

Like OP still waiting for £300+ credit from Tonik Energy. I have put an official complaint in with SP for what its worth. Ofgem next, again for what its worth. An article in The Telegraph with a headline of "Prices 'Unsustainable' warns Scottish Power" concerned me. They mentioned that Extra Energy that collapsed in Nov 18 still had customers awaiting credit refunds. SP 'had funded' £10m to this but now were after a further £6.5m from Ofgem to cover remaining customers. With further bust energy companies being shipped to SP as SoLR there must be a financial scam storm brewing. I keep getting the SP version of manana, a couple of weeks for credit refund. Maybe Ofgem will need a SoLR soon.0

I see a box where you can enter your current readings.Enter your readings in those boxes. I am an SP customer. When you enter the readings the system calculate the new energy charges based on those readings, and bring them up immediately. Within a day or so a PDF version of the energy bill will be available to download. Read your meters and submit them monthly, and you will get into a monthly billing routine. I suggest you maintain a spreadsheet with your energy. I have one for gas and one for electricity dating back to 1983.0

Go to uswitch and enter your SP tariff. You should be offered a SP Super Saver Rate. These are very competitive!0

Still no sign of my £540 credit from Tonik. And SP have just increased my DD with them to £255!0 -
I had just left Tonik Energy by fluke a few weeks before the collapse, I'm owed £220 but for a few pence and was already switched and just awaiting the refund when they collapsed. SP has a notice on their website assuring that anyone owed money will receive a cheque, however, I've called 4 times since October and am now being given the run around with today's call ending in the SP customer service representative giving me an email address for Deloitte the administrators in order to get my refund, this isn't what their website says, they say THEY (SP) will refund anyone owed money, it seems like everyone at SP thinks someone else is going to sort this mess out and I'm at a loss what to do next, in these times where my partner is off furloughed, every penny is crucial for us. anyone else had any luck?0

I’ve just got off the phone to Scottish power again about my ourstanding credit from tonik and just get the run around be a few weeks from final bill blah blah I point out it’s been way longer than that allready ie just emailed them my period of my final bill and asked them to refund me immediately. They kept saying until we hear from tonik.... and the money is there but I kept pointing out no the Money comes from you and you claim from Ofgem.0
