No pence showing on smart meter
Hi, Not sure what's happening or if its common, but we recieved our winter credit voucher today of £140 and put it all on the meter, but since doing so the meter seems to have lost the ability to show pence. It went to £146 when I topped it up, and now £145. Is this normal?

Eon - Lowell - Old bill chasing
Hi, Recently received a letter from Lowell stating they had bought an outstanding debt from Eon for an old property I used to live in. The outstanding debt is from March 2015. The account was closed with Eon on 24th March 2015 when I moved out of the property, and a final bill was paid in April. Lowell have stated another…

Final Account Meter Readings
I regularly change energy suppliers when the account comes to an end. The process always requires me providing closing meter readings to the new supplier. I have noticed on more than one occasion that whilst the electricity reading I provide is used for the final account, the gas reading used always seem to be…

EON - Ombudsmancomplaints
Hi I have a complaint about Eon's service, they offered me £100 goodwill compensation but I am not happy with this. That left me to go through the Ombudsman, who said that I might not get offered anything... Eon has now come back with an offer of £150. My question is should I accept the offer Eon is making now or should I…

We use a separate gas meter for the business. When we stop using gas we naturally continue to pay a standing charge. This year we are retiring and closing the business in July. The last use of gas will be (weather permitting) April . Can we just tell the supplier to end the contract for this meter in April (no point in…

Problems with Utility Point?
Anyone noticed the recent influx of bad reviews on Trustpilot about Utility Point customers not being repaid excess credit and former customers not being refunded credit on final bill? I am one of them and seems I am not alone. Think this is a blip on the radar or a seriously ominous sign? I completely lost trust in…

I'm just in the process of changing my supplies as my contract end 28th Feb, and i thought i'd look at getting 2 quotes 1 for gas only and 1 for electric only and comparing them with the dual fuel. Question about backbilling?
I know that an energy supplier can’t seek additional payment for unbilled energy used more than 12 months prior to the error being detected and a corrected bill being issued. But what if the supplier has been using an incorrect meter number and reading for the billing, and still hasn't got a correct meter reading even…

1 Shop, 2 Electric meters
I am a tenant in a shop which originally comprised of 2 separate units, each with its own electric meter. 25 years ago, the units were broken through in order to make it into one shop and the existing 2 meters were kept as they are to this day.
