Together Energy Issues

Options
Hi, we were transferred to this company when our other supplier ceased, we are having severe issues ever since, despite sending them meter reading every month all the online bills always show the usage as estimated, contacting them is a nightmare and when you do get reply its like talking to a zombie, I want to move but without any correct readings i can not enter my usage to get an accurate quote. Another point with every bill being estimated, despite emailed reading sent, is that we have gone from being in credit to now being in Debit to the sum of £1700, according to their readings, this can not be right !!!, any advice would be appreciated.

Awful, incompetent load of morons. Nothing surprises me about them.

Cast your eye over the first page of Trust Pilot to see you are not alone:

    They're a complete shower.

Despite moving out of my flat in Dec 2018 and calling them and telling them of my move they just let my account run on until August of 2019. I've taken the case to the Ombudsman and their immediate resolution was to only bill me to 2018 instead of a few months back. And give me £75 compensation.

Fat chance of any of that happening IMO.

The ongoing saga of Together Energy "final" bills. Left them over 14 months ago and up until today they had produced 3 final bills , including the most inaccurate one of the three after I had involved the Ombudsman   :D
Just by chance I logged into my TE account today , after reading various tales of woe on the Facebook page. Lo and behold two of the previous "final" bills have vanished from the portal to be replaced by one dated 20th April 2020 which is a repeat of the very first attempt - but with £80 credit applied.
Having gone thru all the initial pain because they were showing a smaller credit than I was expecting from my One Select account, I'm inclined to now settle as £80 is considerably more than the missing OS  credit !
They haven't communicated with me yet, so I'll wait for an email or phone call before I offer up the £67+ left to pay  :)

…......and it gets funnier and funnier. This morning I have received a cheque from Together Energy for the amount of £67.58, the exact amount that their latest attempt at a final bill, said that I OWED them!!
I intend to bank it, sit back and wait to see whether they spot their error(s)   D
