Economy 7 night rate problem
I have joined to ask your opinion about a lady's Economy 7 electricity bill night rate problem. I was asked to look over her bills after Martin's advice on TV about paying less. The lady's bill, as Martin said on his programme, said that she could pay less. I have never had Economy 7 all electric myself but the problem I…

This was to be an intense strip down of the boiler and service and replacement of pipes etc. He was supposed to do this…

I am on all-electric with Scottish Power and our heating is a combination of direct heating panels and night storage heaters. The latter are powered on a control rate overnight. I've just had a letter from SP saying that due to the introduction of the energy price cap, my annual bill is going to increase by £526, an…

Exit sse year1
Think since getting return invites from SP i could maybe re join them. Their online usage is considerably ahead of sse. I haven't gone over sse contract for a while. Is it possible to exit sse during year 1. Maybe there is cancellation fee which I don't mind. Didn't take long to appreciate SP's site for Eco7 Usage.

High Exit Fee from First Utility . .£150
I like the First-utility v2Fixed till 29 Feb 2020 tariff but there's an Exit Free of £150 . . . , saying that most fixed rates are putting up there exit fees above £50, maybe the £150 exit fee could be the new norm.

Article in The Times: small utility firms going bust
Today's paper reveals that many new small energy suppliers are gong under. What are the ramifications for customers - financial loss or just hassle ? I switched to Bulb quite recently , prompted by MSE analysis but was surprised how quickly I was notified that they had become very uncompetitive.

Energy switch- charged twice?
Due to Eon more than doubling our bills, we’re changing energy companies at the end of the month. I’ve had emails from both Eon and the company we’re switching to to say they’re both charging me this month. Is this normal? Thanks

Outfoxthemarket direct debit changes, avoid the exit fee

Hi, I have just noticed that my Economy 7 clock is ahead for 15 mins since last summer. I have compared it with my neighbours and mine switch to the more expensive tariff earlier.
