Running costs Dyson hot/cold fan
We were given some gift vouchers and thinking of buying this: http://www.johnlewis.com/dyson-am05-hot-cool-fan-heater/p405220 We would use it both as a fan in summer and to give a quick boost in our cold rooms in winter. Also, occasionally we might use it as a heater in our garden room if we want to sit out there on colder…

My gas and electricity from Eon is increasing from 3rd June 2013 and my normal bill would usually be the end of June. Should I give my meter reading on the 2nd June or the 3rd of June and should I ask for a bill or will it not make any difference? Just kidding about inflating the reading, well, I might add a 100 kWh to the…

If money is owed on a gas and electric account, the company wont accept a payment plan If I was to contact another company and set up a new supply would this be a problem, would the new company check the arrears. British Gas didn't take gas payments for two years!
Hi all, I moved into my house in May 2011 and set up electricity and gas accounts with British Gas on the Standard tariff. I went for the 'green' billing option so don't get bills and signed up to have the money taken by direct debit. I could see payments were going out each month to British Gas so didn't really pay much…

Immersion or boiler
I get up at 3am most days to go to work, so need some hot water for a wash. At the moment I have the boiler on for an hour before hand. I was wondering, because I have economy 7, would it be better for me to get the immersion wired up to a timer and have that on for the hour instead?

Hi I made a complaint to Ofgem in January this year regarding miss selling in my department. The actual incidents I was referring to took place in August last year.
