Can anyone confirm this please? Their registered office is: Scottish Power Energy Retail Ltd 1 Atlantic Quay Glasgow G2 8SP. Is it the same one please? Unable to pay electricity bill for 30 days
I have just received my gas and electricity bill from British Gas. Gas bill was £300 and my electricity bill was £100. I could afford to pay my gas bill now but, as for the electricity, that has to wait until I'm paid on the 17th March. I explained this to British Gas and they said something regarding 28 days. They said…

Boiler problem
The pressure in my boiler keeps dropping, and I have boiler cover with Scottish Power (same as PH Jones) so I called them. They tell me that they can't get to the faulty part because the boiler has been fitted incorrectly, and as this is not their fault it is not covered. The boiler was in the house when we bought it. I…

Npower and Energy Ombudsman
I have been browsing this board and I see that a lot of posts here relate to Npower. I've been fighting with that institution since June last year and recently sent a complaint to Energy Ombudsman. The complaint originally refers to the amount that was charged in error for utilities used in a property that I have vacated…

2 Suppliers at once? - Spark Energy Ltd
I moved into a new flat a few months ago and there was some confusion over which electricity provider I was with. ScottishPower were historically the provider - but upon moving in another provider seemed forced upon me by the letting agency. I may/may not have agreed to this at the time. Recently Scottishpower & Spark…

My mistake though, I have finally today been…

Bizarre British Gas Statement
I'm on a websaver tariff with British Gas and something very odd has happened with my bill this month and I need some advice on what to do. To give some background to this, we moved into the property on the 1st October 2006. In 2007 I discovered that the meter that was assigned to our flat was actually not our meter. After…

Eon's secret tariff's
My first post to this Forum but a recent experience compels me to write. My Eon Saveonline tariff came to an end at the beginning of Dec and I've been putting off switching. I looked on a comparison website recently and EDF seemed a good option with 180pounds saving. Today I received a letter from Eon indicating a jump in…

Querying meter acuracy
I'm in N.Ireland on Airtricity and I'm convinced that my meter is over reading. I've used a wireless energy monitor to check usage. I know they aren't as accurate (10% tolerance according to the manufacturer) but the utility meter is showing nearly 100% more usage than the monitoring device. I've contacted them and they…
