Scottish Power Postal Address?
Can anyone confirm this please?
Their registered office is:
Scottish Power Energy Retail Ltd
1 Atlantic Quay
Glasgow G2 8SP.
Is it the same one please?
Have just received my final bills after switching to EDF and (you've guessed it) I've been billed at the higher rate for December and January after rejecting the prices increase announced in late November. Which they acknowledged by email.
Anyone else had the same issue?

Thanks Colin, I wasn't actually making a complaint at this stage, I just wanted a postal contact address. There is nothing whatsoever given on the website under 'Contact Us', the link you have supplied is not very visible unless you are specifically looking for info about how to complain. Does the same address apply, or do I write to the registered office at 1 Atlantic Quay?
PS: It would be helpful if you would maintain the online account facility until the final bills are settled, this would eliminate the need to use the post. My online account was locked before I'd even switched suppliers. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
If you wish to complain, it's best to write to the address given in the link supplied by Colin,
Writing to the registered office will probably only delay matters as it will only be forwarded to the correct address/department.
If you don't wish to complain, can I enquire as to the purpose of your wishing to write? I suspect the same address would be willing to accept expressions of satisfaction as well as complaints - it's essentially their customer services team whose role is to handle such correspondence from customers."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
I am just asking for an adjustment to the incorrect billing and enclosing the original correspondence, at this stage I don't consider it an 'official' complaint.
Clearly SP do not wish to encourage communication except by phone or through the online account-and the latter option is now no longer available to me as an 'ex' customer. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

If you are querying the bill, that sounds like a basis for complaint to me.
You can call them or email them if you wish, especially if you don't want to make the complaint sound too formal. However a complaint is a complaint, and if you feel it best to write, use the complaints address. I'm sure if it's a simple error that is not disputed, the complaint will not go very far"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Hi macman
Make it easy for yourself and send an email. That way you will always have a record of when it was sent and also what you said.
I know exactly what you mean about the online account facility closing before you change supplier. It is an issue that our IT department are aware of to see if we can change this and keep it active until the final statement is issued.
Kind Regards

I have warned my mother not to use scottish power as a) there is no postal address for her to use and b) she hates the awful expensive and intensely annoying phone systems with the press this and press that. If thats all you have then she would rather pay more and not join you
I would like to know how someone like my mother - who's eyesight precludes any use of PC at all - and who struggles to hit the right key on a phone can ever make contact with you. I found two addresses courtesy of yell.com via Google but who knows if these are right.
Based on my experience with scottish power, phone updates simply do not get any notice at all. The mindless billing system carries on regardless of any sensibility checks - example a £750 bill followed 3 days later by a letter from the debt collection agency. Bear in mind that the bill was for gas useage July-August 2011. I repeatedly asked for a confirmation letter that the debt collection agency had been called off as my actual usage was nearer £1 - impossible. No need. Cant be done. Dont worry etc etc. Again this is rubbish service.0 -
how patronising - make it easy on yourself - send us an email. HAHA make it easy on who exactly - its certainly not everyone who can access the internet - and who knows if an email is delivered?0

I'm not a customer of Scottish Power anymore thanks to the terrible customer service received in the past but recently had to contact them as power lines cross my land... Jeez they make it virtually impossible to speak to anyone on the phone!!! I don't have a whole day to waste searching for a number then spend ages on the phone pushing buttons that have no relevance to my call. E-mail them... do me a favour.
I can only think this is deliberate, not a great way to do business and hang onto customers...
Never used to be this way...0 -
